Pool Party for a Cause at Culture Lab LIC

To celebrate Pride Month, the incredible nonprofit art gallery Culture Lab in Long Island City, NY, is hosting the Pool Party for a Cause. The interactive drag game show will be commanded by drag queens Ducky Sheaboi, Gorgina, and Patsy InDecline this Saturday, June 4th, starting at 6 PM.

The Pool Party For a Cause will feature different challenges including a wet t-shirt contest, truth or dare, and “a super extreme finale challenge.” Audience members will be split into three different groups, which will be represented by Ducky, Gorgina, and Patsy. The queen's team who garners the most challenge points will donate funds to Culture Lab in their team's name. 

The event will also mark the opening of the exhibit Free To Be - In Celebration of Pride Month, which will be featured at the art center from June 2 until July 31. Free To Be was curated by Lissa Rivera and Orestes Gonzales, and it’s free admission!
