Lovehoney Hosts Gender Affirming Clothing Swap During NYC Pride Week

Lovehoney, the global sex toy company, is gearing up to make a powerful statement during New York City Pride Week by hosting a gender-affirming clothing drive. This event aims to promote inclusivity and support the LGBTQ+ community by providing a safe and compassionate space where individuals can explore and express their gender identities through fashion.

Teaming up with the non-profit organization Out My Closet, Lovehoney is offering a wide range of apparel, accessories and shoes free of charge. This partnership ensures that those in need, including under-resourced and displaced LGBTQ+ youth, transgender individuals, survivors of domestic violence, HIV+ individuals, and refugee/asylum seekers, can access stylish and gender-affirming clothing options.

The event will take place at 89 Crosby St., New York, and it will run from Tuesday, June 20, to Saturday, June 24, between the hours of 11:00 am and 6:00 pm.

Participants attending the clothing drive will not only have the opportunity to select items free of charge but will also have the chance to win select product giveaways throughout the day.

Lovehoney's Sex Educator Javay Frye-Nekrasova and Resident Sexual Wellness Expert Sarah Tomchesson will be present on-site, providing one-on-one sex education sessions to those seeking guidance and information.

It is important to note that donating clothing is not mandatory in order to participate and take items from the available selection. Clothing sizes range from XS to 3X, and lingerie is available in sizes XS to 6X. To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to benefit from this event, there is a limit of one piece of lingerie and four articles of clothing and/or accessories per person.

Sex educator sessions will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure their spot.

Lovehoney's gender-affirming clothing drive exemplifies their commitment to supporting and celebrating the LGBTQ+ community, offering a safe and inclusive space for individuals to express themselves authentically. Whether you are looking to refresh your wardrobe or donate to a worthy cause, this event is sure to be an enriching and empowering experience during New York City Pride Week.
