Padam, Padam: Watch Kylie Minogue Live at Capital's Summertime Ball 2023 + ‘Tension’ Tracklist

Kylie Minogue is back with her new hit single "Padam Padam." Produced by Lostboy, known for his work with Griff, Anne-Marie and Tiesto, the song embodies everything fans adore about this iconic artist. With its euphoric vocals, ridiculously infectious chorus, and pulsating electronic drum beat, "Padam Padam" is an instant Kylie classic.

The accompanying music video, shot in Los Angeles and directed by Sophie Muller, showcases Kylie in all her powerful and otherworldly glory. Dressed head to toe in red and accompanied by a troupe of talented dancers, the visual spectacle is a feast for the eyes.

Fans won't have to wait long for more Kylie magic, as her brand new studio album, "Tension," is set to be released on Sept. 22. The record promises a collection of pleasure-seeking, empowered dance floor anthems, and sultry pop cuts that will ignite the senses.

“I started this album with an open mind and a blank page. Unlike my last two albums there wasn’t a ‘theme’, it was about finding the heart or the fun or the fantasy of that moment and always trying to service the song. I wanted to celebrate each song’s individuality and to dive into that freedom. I would say it’s a blend of personal reflection, club abandon and melancholic high,” Kylie said.

Working with a range of producers, Kylie reunited with her longtime collaborators Biff Stannard and Duck Blackwell on seven tracks. Embracing the challenges of recording during unprecedented times, Kylie shares her experience of utilizing remote recording techniques.

Her mobile studio became a constant companion for a year and a half, allowing her to craft an album that navigates difficult times while celebrating the present. She hopes "Tension" will accompany listeners on their own journeys and become part of their personal stories.

The tracklist for "Tension" promises an exciting mix of songs, including the electrifying opener "Padam Padam.”
