I wanted to celebrate each song’s individuality and to dive into that freedom. I would say it’s a blend of personal reflection, club abandon and melancholic high,” Kylie said.
Working with a range of producers, Kylie reunited with her longtime collaborators Biff Stannard and Duck Blackwell on seven tracks. Embracing the challenges of recording during unprecedented times, Kylie shares her experience of utilizing remote recording techniques.
Her mobile studio became a constant companion for a year and a half, allowing her to craft an album that navigates difficult times while celebrating the present. She hopes "Tension" will accompany listeners on their own journeys and become part of their personal stories.
