This weekend in NY: Kim Petras, Lemon, Tina and Rosé

This weekend in New York City is for the drag fans! You can watch a Drag Song Battle in Japanese style, a comedy pageant hosted by Tina Turner, or even a special charity show with Lemon, Rosé, Jasmine Rice, Izzy Uncut, and Lagoona Bloon!

Be the first to get news about LGBTQ+ events in New York City!

Here's what you can do in New York this weekend:

Kim Petras - 10/08, 10/09

The first trans pop icon Kim Petras - sorry, Nikita Dragun, the title was talent already - is performing in New Jersey this weekend. On Friday, 8, she takes the stage at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City at 9 pm. On Saturday, 9, Kim and DJ Alex Chapman will start the show at Asbury Park at 5 pm.

Our favorite pop star is currently promoting her new single, Future Starts Now, which marks the beginning of a new era in her career. This is Kim's first project with her new record label Republic Records.

Ps. We know that New Jersey is not New York, but it's Kim Petras, and NJ is right across the Hudson.

Tammie Brown - 10/08 - 9:30 pm

The drag queen superstar, singer, and songwriter, Tammie Brown, is returning to NYC with her new show "Schubert."

Info about the show: Doors 9:30 pm, show 10:00 pm. Tickets $22 in advance, $25 at the door, $35 VIP (includes preferred seating and a meet & greet, $40 at the door).

Hot Rabbit - 10/09 at 9 pm

Baby's All Right is hosting a new edition of Hot Honey, a party with burlesque shows brought to you by Honey Burlesque.

Hot Rabbit is the main lesbian party in New York City! If you are looking for some fun with the girls, you can miss this one. Tickets are on sale for $10

Drag Song Battle - 10/09 at 7 pm

Ducky Sheaboi and Patsy Indecline are bringing a drag song competition to Long Island City, featuring drag artists Freeda Kulo, Gorgina, Megami, and Paris L'Hommie! The battle will be hosted by Junko Kubo, host of NHK's Kouhaku Utagassen, and presented by Team Japan, a Japanese style and talent team.

The event will happen at Culture Lab LIC, 10 minutes by train from Grand Central! The winning team will be donating the prize to a fundraiser!

The best part? Free entry! Also, there will be vendors, food & beverage on-site so that you can have a great time in the audience with your friends!
