FAGGOT for a Good Cause

On this World AIDS Day, December 1, six queer comedians will host an evening of stand-up comedy at the Stonewall Inn to raise money for the God's Love We Deliver organization. The show named FAGGOT will feature James Sueling, James Tison, Jonathan Thomas, Jilberto Soto, James Wendt and Conor Janda.

"The AIDS crisis is 40 years old. 700,000 Americans have died from AIDS in that time. The first decade of the fight can still be seen in places like God's Love We Deliver. At a time when men couldn't feed themselves, angels brought food."

God's Love We Deliver was co-founded by Ganga Stone and Jane Best, who decided to donate prepared meals to people living with AIDS in Manhattan in 1986. Soon other restaurants joined in, and the organization kept growing over the years. They have delivered over 25 million meals in the past 35 years.

"The mission of God's Love We Deliver is to improve the health and well-being of men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other serious illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition. We prepare and deliver nutritious, high-quality meals to people who, because of their illness, are unable to provide or prepare meals for themselves. We also provide illness-specific nutrition education and counseling to our clients, families, care providers and other service organizations."

You can get tickets for FAGGOT for free and make your donation in person, or you can already donate any amount while reserving your ticket online. Click here for more info!
