The pop icon, pandemic album recorder, queen of fall, and Miss LGBTQ+ Ally 2019, Taylor Swift is once again taking over the news and the charts thanks to Red (Taylor's Version)'s release. While Jake Gyllenhaal might be regretting his scarf choices in the past, we are all going crazy with the new album. So, to honor our Swifties readers, I created a special New York City guide based on Taylor Swift's favorite spots. You can read everything before the ten-minute version of All Too Well ends. I promise!

Updated on May 2022: Taylor Swift graduated from New York University’s in 2022, and a gave an iconic speech at their graduation ceremony after receiving an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree from the institution.

Check out 17 spots in New York City where you might find Taylor Swift, including restaurants, stores, gym, and tourist attractions!

Levain Bakery

During her 1989 era, Taylor Swift posted a picture of two amazing cookies from Levain Bakery. According to our favorite gourmet critic, Miss Taylor herself, those cookies turned her "day around." Levain Bakery has six different locations in New York City, but the original is at 167 W 74th Street.

Bubby's Restaurant

A century ago, when Taylor and Lena Dunham were still besties, they were both spotted at Bubby's Restaurant. Apparently, Taylor ordered a chicken salad without tomatoes. Bubby's is located in Tribeca, the neighborhood where all the celebrities like to hang out, at 120 Hudson St.

ABC Carpet & Home Emporium

Taylor was once seen at this store buying things for her Nashville mansion. If you're planning to redecorate your home and have Taylor's budget, go for it! ABC Carpet is a few blocks from Union Square Park, at 888 Broadway.

Zarin Fabrics

The store is famous for working with different celebrities and famous stylists. Back in 2014, Taylor went to Zarin Fabrics to find some good prints, perhaps. Zarin Fabrics is at 72 Allen St, Lower East Side.

Dogpound Gym

You have all seen at least one picture of Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss leaving the gym together, right? This gym is Dogpound, an exclusive and luxury establishment in Hudson Square. They are located at 1 Renwick St.

Cornelia Street

The Lover's song was inspired by the Greenwich Village apartment she briefly rented a few years ago. The apartment, located at 23 Cornelia Street, has five and a half bathrooms, a swimming pool in the living room, and a white marble staircase.

Empire State Building

The singer has a very famous picture taken in New York City's most popular attraction, the Empire State. However, Taylor visited a top-secret VIP balcony on floor 103 of the building. But you can still take amazing pictures at their observatory!

Locanda Verde

Located inside of The Greenwich Hotel, this is one of her favorite Italian restaurants in town. Taylor was photographed there not one but many times. And by the way, Beyonce and Jay-Z were also seen there a couple of times.

Sarabeth's

Are you looking for a place to brunch à la Taylor Swift? This place in Tribeca is always busy, mainly because people always hope to see an A-list celebrity there. Taylor had brunch with Karlie Kloss at Sarabeth's a couple of years ago.

Shake Shack

Taylor and her BFF Lorde were seen together at the traditional burger eatery Shake Shack in Madison Square Park years ago before she moved to NYC. We wonder if this is still her favorite burger restaurant in town…

The Polo Bar

A few blocks from Central Park, The Polo Bar is the best place to spot a celebrity in New York City. They hosted dinners for Rihanna, Leonard DiCaprio, and Taylor, of course. The singer went there with Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Ashley Avignone, and Martha Hunt.

The Smile to Go

How about an afternoon snack? Taylor's menu pick at this Howard Street Cafe was a Greek yogurt with fruit and homemade granola. Light and delicious!

ABC Cocina

After her performance at the Victoria's Secret Show in 2014, Taylor picked this Latin restaurant to have dinner with her supermodels best friends.

Lafayette

Taylor is also a fan of French cuisine. She met with actress Tavi Gevinson at this french bistro in downtown New York a few years ago. The restaurant is located at 380 Lafayette St.

Koi

Get your chopsticks ready! Thanks to hardcore fans, we know that Taylor had a double tuna roll, sautéed green beans, and the "She's So LA" at this restaurant.

Milk Bar

For her 25th Birthday, Taylor Swift ordered a gluten-free, dairy-free chocolate cake from Milk Bar. The company has different locations in New York!

Central Park

It was August in 2014, when a lucky fan spotted Taylor Swift at Central Park. When I say lucky, I mean LUCKY. The fan bumped into T.S. on her birthday and received $90 in cash from the singer as a gift. Iconic.
