What is the Bisexual Flag?

Bisexual Flag

The bisexual flag was designed by Michael Page, and it was first unveiled on the BiCafe website, on de December 5, 1998. The flag was created to raise the visibility of bisexuals, giving them a symbol similar to the rainbow flag.

The colors of the flag were selected to overlap the pattern of the 'bi angles' symbol. “The purple pixels of color blend unnoticeably into both the pink and blue, just as in the 'real world,' where bi people blend unnoticeably into both the gay/lesbian and straight communities.”

The colors of the bisexual flag want to tell you that blue is not only for boys, and pink is not just for girls.
